... sparrows....

There were sparrows to be seen and heard

everywhere, on our walk today.

When I see sparrows,

I always remember what is said about them in the Bible...

Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings,
and not one of them is forgotten before God?
Luke 12:6

I cannot look at a sparrow

without this knowing:

that God is present in this very moment

in this sparrow's existence!

But even the very hairs of your head

are all numbered.

Fear not therefore:

ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Luke 12:7

...and so, in my existence, as well!

To know this... that God is present

in this very moment

in my existence...

how beautiful, how amazing,

how changed I feel

in the moment that I perceive this!
